2 The game
AI Lab Race doesn’t collect, send or share personal data. It has no account, and no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking code, ours or anyone else’s. It doesn’t connect to the internet at all.
To play, the game keeps a few things on your device: your saved game (including the lab and AI names you type), copies of earlier saves kept for recovery, a record of finished runs (scores, endings and the world each run was played in), and your settings (language, music, sound and tips). They stay in the game’s storage on your device and never reach us. Deleting the app deletes them.
3 Apple
Apple handles downloads and payments under its own terms and privacy policy. Your device’s backups to iCloud or a computer may include the game’s data, according to your backup settings; that is between you and Apple.
If you have agreed to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics about the app. These don’t identify you, and we use them only to fix problems. Payment details never reach us.
4 This website
When you visit, our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site: your IP address, the time, the page you asked for, the referring page and your browser’s details. The website is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our service provider; see the AWS Privacy Notice. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site reliably and securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is kept only as long as needed for that.
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties. If you choose a language, your browser remembers it in its local storage so the site can open in that language next time; it stays in your browser and isn’t sent to us.
5 Emailing us
If you email contact@gotolcs.com, we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. Our email is handled by Google Workspace (Google’s privacy policy). We use it to answer you and keep it only as long as needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for questions about the game you bought, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6 Transfers outside the EU
AWS and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7 Children
The game collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
8 Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Since the game collects nothing, this will mostly concern emails you sent us. Write to contact@gotolcs.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
